Objectives
Programs and Schedules

1) To produce serene music utilizing authentic and rare instruments.

2) To facilitate yoga, meditation, and physical exercise with music to promote a positive impact.

3) To utilize devotional music to alleviate depression among introverted individuals.

4) To contribute to the establishment of a non-violent and peaceful society by guiding individuals towards spiritual music, thereby mitigating depression and aggression.

5) To enrich the cultural landscape of New York City by integrating South Asian art and music, thereby transforming it into a hub of entertainment and cultural exchange through establishment of a huge Musical Colosseum.

Since our inception before 2009, we've been delivering diverse musical experiences to various communities. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, we found ourselves confined to our homes, grappling with mental stress, fear, and uncertainty. Amidst this turmoil, we endeavored to provide solace by streaming live musical performances via Zoom. However, amidst these challenging times, we recognized the pressing need for spiritual and uplifting music that could positively impact human life. Thus, we shifted our focus to creating music that not only entertained but also uplifted spirits and bolstered resilience. Our efforts included crafting songs to raise awareness about COVID-19 safety measures, which proved instrumental in empowering communities to combat the pandemic.

Subsequently, we continued to host authentic musical sessions twice weekly, centered around promoting COVID-19 safety measures and combating depression through music. Our advocacy encouraged individuals to embrace music as a companion during solitary activities, such as exercise, thereby mitigating feelings of loneliness. Through our mantra that "music is medicine," we aimed to demonstrate how integrating meditation and spiritual music into daily routines could alleviate mental and physical fatigue, fostering overall well-being.

Music serves not only as entertainment but also as a potent remedy. Throughout history, from the ancient times of Satya Yuga to the present day, music has been recognized for its healing properties. While commonly associated with enjoyment through listening or dancing, its therapeutic potential extends far beyond mere amusement. Scientific research confirms its ability to alleviate depression and pacify violence through meditative and spiritual contemplation. By harnessing the power of music, we can pave the way towards a more harmonious society.

Establishment

Throughout the COVID-19 transition period, we delivered uplifting and serene music to communities via Zoom and Facebook Live. As restrictions eased, we transitioned our programs to public parks, offering live meditation sessions accompanied by music. Additionally, we have spearheaded initiatives to promote and celebrate South Asian culture in New York City, a vibrant melting pot of music and culture. We want to inform you that our monthly programs are slated to take place in public libraries, parks, churches, temples, and schools, ensuring accessibility to all.
